Houston – Rapper Travis Scott will revive the Astroworld Festival in November this year, and tickets for the event will go on sale Wednesday at 10am.
Scott initially launched the Astroworld Festival in 2018, more than 10 years after the Astroworld theme park closed.
The festival was successful in its second year in 2019, but was not held in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Benjamin Rosales, who owned some of the original theme park souvenirs, spoke with KPRC in 2018 and said he had sold some of the original Astroworld signs to Scott.
“This brings historic value to the show. Astroworld was one of the best theme parks ever, thanks to Travis Scott’s return to the map,” Rosales said at the time. I will.
Travis has been the festival’s headliner for the past few years and could do so this year, but the rest of the lineup hasn’t been announced.
Post Malone, Kanye West, Pop Smoke, Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Wayne have all played at the Astroworld Festival before.
